Most companies who do have these things in place (like IBM) have posted them publicly, so for those who think it would be a good ideas,have a look, adapt and copy.I personally was surprised by the amount of companies that did not have in place a dedicated policy.I do know that many companies have an internet policy. I agree with you. It’s really difficult to define exactly what a “corporate blog” is. Personnally, I think that the IBM Blogs can be called “indirect” corporate blogs. They are somewhere in between corporate and private blogs.

On the one hand, they are written by IBM employees and can have a big influence on the image of their company. On the other hand, they are private blogs and the bloggers don’t have to write about IBM.
